Because education is the foundation of everyone’s future,
teacher’s salaries should be raised to complement their work efforts. Without
education, not one person will be successful in any endeavor that they take on.
This is important when thinking about the types of teacher’s/professors that we
would like to have instructing, what we should consider not only students, but
our futures. If it’s one thing we all have in common, it’s that we all share
the same future when considering the outcome of the world. The variable that
this outcome strongly depends on is the education of the student’s/people that
take place in the present. These student’s/people have to have the proper
education to ensure the well-being of everyone’s future. But, how do we ensure
that these student’s/people are being provided with the proper education to do
so?
The answer is in the people who are giving them the essential building
blocks to build our futures. In other words, our teachers, professors, instructors,
and mentors of today. But, how do we make sure that these teachers are
providing the student’s with such valuable education? We pay them higher wagers
to do so. Higher wages will only encourage better people to become our
teachers, professors, instructors, and mentors of today. The demand for better
teachers in today’s society is soaring. But on the other hand, the passion to
want to be a teacher in today’s society is plummeting. This is due to the
realization that being an everyday teacher/professor doesn’t pay as highly as
being an everyday doctor, lawyer, pilot, or marketer. Though, the job is just
as difficult & important as any of those jobs listed, the pay just does not
add up. To break down the concept, all of the scholars who are putting forth
their best efforts to become your doctor, lawyer, pilot, or marketer might just
have what it takes to be your student’s/scholars’ brilliant teacher/professor.
The problem is that the scholar who’s putting for those efforts are putting
them forth because of the guaranteed higher-wages that will come along with
taking on those jobs. You really can’t say the same for a teacher, and that’s
where the problem needs to be resolved. The only way of doing so is raising the
wages of your everyday teacher/professor to accommodate them for their hard
efforts. It may even inspire the teachers/professors currently instructing to
do better.
this is a really great argument and i agree 100% that teachers build the future. but will higher pay alone be enough to ensure they are the best of the best? that i dont understand.
